We have updated our leaflet showing public transport information for National Trust properties in London. You can pick up the leaflet at one of our meetings or download a copy here: NT London (PDF).

National Trust Accredited Volunteers may now join our Centre

There has been a change in the constitution for all Centres and Associations which means that National Trust Accredited Volunteers who are not members of the National Trust will, on production of their Volunteer Cards, be able to join Centres and Associations. Volunteers have to put in at least 50 hours of work before receiving a card so it does mean that they are committed to the cause! The benefit to us will be to enable us to expand our membership which, as in the case of nearly all Centres and Associations, is showing a slight decline. The National Trust consulted all the Centres and Associations before adopting this change which has the full support of your Committee.

Our recent donations to local National Trust properties

One of the objects of the Centre is to assist local National Trust causes and as you have so kindly supported our holidays, visits, sales table etc, we have been able to donate a total of £9000 to these local properties:

The Beckenham & Bromley Centre is a voluntary association of National Trust members founded in 1975 to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust.
