The Centre has responded to appeals from three properties:
Chartwell
- £1000 for the restoration of the Sims painting (1922) of Diana and Sarah Churchill.
Bateman's
- £2000 to explain sustainable power through the workings of a watermill, using graphics, text and hands-on equipment.
This will improve the educational aspect of the mill and increase visitor enjoyment.
Sissinghurst Castle Garden
- £3500 to purchase 350 trees and stakes for the new cobnut orchard. The nuts will be harvested to supply the Granary Restaurant.
